For many women, especially mothers, putting others first becomes automatic. Over time, this can leave you feeling burned out, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unseen. You may appear fine on the outside, while inside you’re unsure how to find space for your own needs. Therapy offers a compassionate space to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive, and affirming space. A place where you can pause, take a breath, and gently ground yourself amidst the demands of everyday life. In our sessions, for expecting moms struggling with anxiety, we will focus on supporting your emotional well-being and helping you feel more grounded in your everyday life.

  • We will explore the way you think, perceive, and speak to yourself, as well as the expectations you carry. Together, we will challenge self-criticism and unrealistic standards so you can see your efforts, strengths, and resilience through a more compassionate lens.

  • We will work on establishing and maintaining healthy personal boundaries, especially in relationships where you may feel overstretched or invalidated. Learning how to advocate for your own needs can increase your confidence in your choices, particularly in your role as a mother. 

  • You’ll learn ways to embrace nurturing yourself as an essential part of your emotional health. As you begin to prioritize yourself, you may notice improvements in your relationships, your energy, patience, and your ability to be present.
